[And there's a lengthy pause. See, the intent had been to rile Sora up at being called a liar or something to make him trip over his words until Axel could have his laugh and hang up. Because that's surely all Sora wants from him, right? Poke the former antagonist, tease the limits of their little truce, leave with self satisfaction after winning some little game.

But then he goes and says things like that. Like he's just another guy hanging on the clocktower ledge with him and Roxas. Like he actually does want to know.

[The thing is, Sora very much wants to just chat with Axel. Lea or not- this person is someone Sora's come to trust as a good friend. He's maybe not as close to Axel as Roxas or Xion might be... But they've been through a lot. That's worth something, even if Axel can't remember it right now.

Haha, Roxas told me he's been here for a year or something like that. It's crazy to think he's been here for so much longer than you and me, having an adventure without us!

but i'm happy we're all together again. i want to do all sorts of exploring and adventure here with roxas. and you too!
